When it stops at the bottom, the raven is ahead of you near the ceiling - against the wall between this room and the Valkyrie’s arena. You should either be able to throw your axe into its chest, or will be prompted to attack with R3.įollow this pattern two or three times to defeat it, dodging the fire balls it spits at you and being mindful of the small Draugr that spawn to make your day a bit harder.This raven is perched on a nearby rock wall.

Pick up the rock, and throw it at it (NOT inside the red crater) to stun it. Throw your axe into the crater, and it will spit out a rock. The Soul Eater will eventually open up a glowing orange crater on its chest. Instead, ready your ranged axe attack with R2. You won’t be able to beat the Soul Eater down with melee attacks. You’ll see the final rune beyond the first gate, to the left of the second. Then, descend to where the Soul Eater went. To the left of the chain, on the rockwall face you can see the second rune. Turn to your left to view the chain you came up from. There’s one that can be hit to the right of the door by a red urn above it.

Here, you’ll see a door which can only be unlocked by finding runes, much like Locked Chests. Head back up the chain you came from, and then climb atop the broken bridge. Make sure to open the Coffin with a piece of Soft Svartalfheim Steel and 7 World Serpent Scale Fragments before you turn around - when you head back out you’ll be bombarded by number of Draugr and Nightmares. You will be rewarded with a decent amount of Hacksilver.You can now continue ahead and drop down the chain to the area below.Ĭontinue through the gate to trigger another cutscene about the Soul Eater. Double back to the now destroyed rocks and drop down the ledge. From this location you can see the red urn that you must break to destory the rocks. Break those boards to find a dead warrior that you can loot. As you proceed down the path, past the rocks, you will find a small borded area to your right. There’s a few rocks you ahead of you that you will need to break by utilizing a red urn. Be sure to look around on the floor next to the coffin, where you'll find a a Treasure Map: Dead and Bloated.
